I would like to thanks Dr. Schamroth and his team for an outstanding coaching for the oral exam. The first time I took the oral exam I read 3 textbooks, took the Columbus (10-day course) review and made sure I was ''book smart.'' I felt so ready to answer any questions about practice, OB or surgery. I had heard the idea of taking multiple oral exams to made sure you were used to the ''technique.'' Well, I was definitely not sure and definitely not trained on how to respond to questions. Especially, knowing exactly what the examiner wants to hear and definitely how they can make you question what you know you already know. I could not imagine I could have failed, but when it happened, I knew why. In Dr. Schamroth''s course, in those few days, I learned what to say, how to say it and to know exactly what is important to know for the oral exam. I went to the exam just a little nervous, obviously, but left with a breath of fresh air knowing that I aced almost all questions and knew the examiners could not trick me this time. If I had to recommend a review for anyone deciding which board review to take for the oral exam, I will never hesitate to say that every penny I spent last year going to Baltimore for ExamPro was well worth it and more. I hope you continue helping OB-GYNs across the nation bear this burden/requisite for years to come.
