February - July before Exams

This is a time to be inputting data into your case list. It is advised that you should not fall behind in this endeavor. Whether or not you have started inputting your cases into the computer, consider the advantages of using our Case List Software

It cannot be overemphasized that you have a lot of discretion regarding what to include and exclude in each case on your list. Our Case List Construction Video is an audiovisual recording of a lecture entitled 'Case List Construction and Review'. It provides insights and tips on how to construct your case list while maximizing your strengths. These insights can be used with any software (including your own) for case list construction.

If you have not already considered attending one of our seminars, this would be an excellent time to do so. It is recommended that you consider attending a Case List Construction Course (1 day). Only if you find this beneficial (which we are confident you will), then go ahead and register for one of our multi-day course later in the year (the first day of the Definitive Board Prep (5 day) course is similar to the Case List Construction (1 day) course and you may choose to either attend (repeat as a refresher), or not. The choice is yours and there is no extra cost (excluding a nominal administration/meal fee) if you choose to attend the first day.

A service which has been found to be most helpful is our Case List Review. Last year we reviewed the case lists of approximately 10% of all candidates. If you are interested, you will want to reserve your request as soon as possible, since this will speed up the turn around time after submitting it to us for review.
