Your case list is 50% of your exam and provides the single biggest
opportunity to dramatically change the outcome of your exam. You have control of
how to construct your case list. Make the most of it. Don't waste this golden opportunity.
You are strongly encouraged to have someone (in addition to yourself) review your case
list.
Candidates perspective: More people use ExamPro for a case list review than any other.
What Is An ExamPro Case List Review?
With our 10 years experience, we know what is repeatedly asked
in the exam. We use this knowledge base as we screen your case list. Case lists
are examined one case at a time, for red flags, landmines and anything that can
cause difficulty in the exam. You receive an extensive typed report, and an individualized
audio, listing the issues relevant to your list. Finally, your reviewer is available
over the phone to discuss any questions you may have regarding specific cases or
issues on your list.
Your review should preferably be done prior to submission. However, if you've already
handed it in to ABOG, this service becomes even more critical since you need to know
what 'red flags' are now already in your examiners hands, and how to defend
them. You don't want your examiner to bring these 'landmines' to your attention for
the first time . Set yourself up for success before you even enter the exam room
by have your case list reviewed.
If you only have a few problem cases that you would like to review and discuss
with an expert, you may wish to sign up for a
Case List Mock Oral. This mock oral is available in half hour increments. This
mock oral can be done either 'in person', as a private mock at one of our course
or over the phone.
Our Case List Review Faculty?
Our faculty are all trained by Dr Schamroth. They are all
in clinical practice and have expert insight into the exam They include
generalists as well as all sub-specialists. Other Board prep courses do not all have
faculty in practice and a knowledge of the exam. Make sure you get what you
need.
How Much Does it Cost?
Everyone's case list is different, and price depends on case list
length. Your case list review is consequently individualized for you. Although a
set figure is given, refunds are given if your case list takes less than average time
to complete. You pay only for what you need . A surcharge is levied for case lists
submitted shortly before the various deadlines. We encourage you to submit your list once
you have entered at least 10 months of cases. We can then review this for you, allowing
you to get your interim report and make the desired changes to your list. You can then
send the balance of your list and we will provide an addendum report. Please note: the
deadline for the addendum report is July 5, in order to guarantee timely turnaround.
